Often Chilly, High-Altitude Lake Bolivia, Copacabana and the Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca

A few hours journey from the capital city of La Paz, is the lakeside city of Copacabana, from there one can take a boat ride to the famous Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) and the floating islands of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia as well as neighboring Peru. Much of the year, Copacabana is cold and windy, but surrounded by mountains and with the accompaniment of the sun that bathing one with warmth, many enjoy their stay, learning to dress for the cold.
