Welcome to Spiritual Travel in India, a blog dedicated to exploring the unique spiritual journeys that India has to offer. From the ancient Rajasthan desert to the breathtaking Himalayan Mountain ranges, we aim to provide insight into the sacred places and experiences that India has to offer. Our blog is unique in that we provide an in-depth look at some of the more obscure spiritual sites, such as the ancient Hindu temple in Varanasi, the Sufi shrines of Kashmir, and the sacred Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh. We also feature some of the more iconic sites, such as the Taj Mahal, the Ganges River, and the sacred city of Vrindavan. A third destination is the large South Indian temple called Brihadees War, which is renowned for its incredible architecture and the fact that it doesn’t cast a shadow from any angle.

We take an in-depth look at the four most important spiritual sites in India: Varanasi, Ujjain, Dwarka, and Amritsar. Each of these sites has its own unique history and significance, and each has the potential to be an incredibly powerful experience. For example, Varanasi is the spiritual capital of Hinduism, Ujjain is the holy city of the Shaivite sect of Hinduism, and Dwarka is the ancient city of Lord Krishna.
